    "reviewBody": "We stayed here for one night to celebrate our anniversary and it was lovely! A beautifully preserved Victorian house, the interior is gorgeous, detailed carved wood paneling, dazzling ceilings... Kinda felt like I could have been wearing a ball gown every time I went down the staircase. Staff was warm and welcoming, and the food was incredible, wish I could have stayed 5 more days just to try everything on the breakfast menu. Fresh baked bread. AJ's chocolate oatmeal cookies were next level. Also appreciated the wine & snack hour in the evening, and it was fun to play chess and meet other guests. We will be back!!",

The suite I booked was comfortable and cozy! The food was delicious! I enjoyed breakfast, freshly baked cookies and the wine and cheese from 4p-6pm. It was a fantastic stay!!",

    "reviewBody": "Without question, the most memorable stay I've had in San Francisco, (as a two+ decade resident.) The entire experience was exceptional. Their hospitality staff was stellar, attentive and friendly. Stunning architecture, decor and history. The Isadora Duncan suite didn't disappoint... those plum walls! Their complementary wine and chess in the lobby was a delightful treat. They served a delicious breakfast each morning in the stately dining room. I can't say enough good things about this local treasure. Highly recommended! I can't wait to return.",

    "reviewBody": "True gem in our city! Stayed with my 90 year old parents. To avoid stairs we got the room on the bottom floor, it was probably the servants quarters in the past. A few stairs and we were transformed to a Victorian era mansion with amazing and kind service. Thank you!",

    "reviewBody": "Absolutely charming and authentic Victorian mansion bed and breakfast. With extraordinarily large sumptuous rooms tastefully decorated with period furniture and prints - nothing too garish as some of these places can be. Best of all is the top notch hospitality from the caring staff especially evident in the generous wine and cheese daily happy hour and unbelievably generous and delectable made-to-order breakfast. There were 15 of us in town for a wedding and they seated us all at their beautiful dining table and got all our orders perfectly. My spinach quiche was perfection plus there's complimentary fresh biscuits, jam and yogurt with fresh berries too. Lovely stretch of San Francisco away from the downtown debacle and just a couple of blocks walk from the lively bar and restaurant scene on upper Divisadero Street.",

    "reviewBody": "I stayed again here in July, this time in the other suite, the Mark Twain, for four days. And I thoroughly enjoyed it, though the bathroom was smaller than the one in the Luisa Terazzini. There were a couple of problems, ones that have me rethinking whether I will feel comfortable about rebooking: (1) The Wi-fi on the third floor was a problem. Usually, it did not work. I had three devices, all state-of-the-art (or tech): a MacBook M2 Air, a Pixel 8 Pro, and an I-pad Air 2. Only the Pixel connected seamlessly to the wi-fi, and that only for two or two-and-a-half days. I spent a lot of time rebooting, googling, talking to Kelly, etc. Sometimes, going out into the hallway, near the router plugged into the wall, helped. I never had this problem before, in any of the bed and breakfasts I have stayed in San Francisco (The Parker Guesthouse, The Inn on Van Ness) or Airbnbs. Kelly did say that she had not had other guests complain, and that she herself had had zoom meetings in that suite. (2) On two mornings, at around 7:30 a.m., there was music from a radio in the kitchen. The first time I asked Sab to please turn on the classical musical radio in the drawing room, which, effectively, blocked the pop music from the kitchen. The second time, the music was blaringly loud. With hesitating reluctance and I walked into the kitchen to make the identical request. She stared with hostility and said, 'WHAT DO YOU WANT?\" Perhaps she was having a bad morning (?). I made the identical request as the morning before. She had gone over to the radio and turned it off without much ado. This is not the way guests in a bed and breakfast anywhere wish to be treated. ***** Also, the quiche lorraine was barely warm (I had had it the day before when it probably had been baked) and the crust soft, not at all crispy. Microwaved warm? But I said nothing, again. ***** Kelly Bunting was her usual delightful. gracious, understanding self.",
